Such a Smile...

My little honey is so happy go lucky and loves to smile!

Storybook Island...

We met up with Dave's cousin and her little girl, his aunt, and Dave's folks at Storybook Island. The kids had a great time running around climbing on everything. It was not very often that all three kids would be in the same place at the same time so those pictures were far and few between. The kids loved pretending to be royalty. Benjamin was excited to meet Ariel from the Little Mermaid. We could have spent more time there but between our schedule and the impending rain we cut our visit there short.

Reptile Gardens...

We took some time and went to Reptile Gardens. The kids loved it! Benjamin loves crocodiles and was excited to watch the alligator/crocodile show not one time but two. He and Ada even got up the nerve to touch a baby croc. The kids had a great time looking at the reptiles and watching all of the shows. They would just sit there wide eyed and mesmerized. Gunnar would even watch the reptiles and the birds for a while. Gunnar was a great baby on our trip. He is very carefree and easy going which makes it extremely wonderful for us.

Bear Country...

While out in Rapid we ventured out and went to Bear Country. Despite what we have heard from other people, our cool, rainy day at Bear Country was great! We saw a ton of bears and other animals. The kids were pretty nervous about the bears walking on the road where we would drive but they loved watching them. Ada backseat drove the whole time telling us to watch out for bears, stay on the road, etc.

Fun at the Hotel...

This past June (yes, I am finally posted a few of these pictures) I had a meeting out in Rapid City and Dave and the kids were able to come along with me. We did a little bit of sight seeing but also had to enjoy the pool and arcade games. Benjamin is our little fish/daredevil. He loved every minute of being in the pool and going down the waterslide. Ada preferred to play the arcade games (just the demos) and by the end she enjoyed lounging in the hot tub. If you notice in the last picture that there is a girl helping Benjamin. He quickly realized that if he acted like he needed help that this older girl would wait around for him and help him out. Dave and I just shook our heads. That boy is going to be trouble when he gets older!

Intellitainer Time...

Gunnar loves playing in his Intellitainer. He loves making it make music. Dave and I have found where to put Gunnar if he is ever constipated. This little boy goes everytime he is in here so we have nicknamed this the poop machine. How can you not love this little face?

Ava's blanket

I finally got a picture of my niece showing off the blanket I crocheted for her. It was/is the first blanket that I have ever crocheted. I used blue, light green, yellow, and purple colored yarn. If I would have known that I was having a niece I would have made it all girly colors so she is having to settle for this blanket instead. By the look on her face I don't think she minds at all.
